Practice Policies
Reading these policies in advance of our sessions will speed up the administrative time we spend getting started. This in turn allows us to spend more time doing the work you have sought through therapy. I will have a paper copy for you to sign in person for my records.

Appointments and Cancellations
Please remember to cancel or reschedule 24 or 48 hours in advance. You will be responsible for $50 fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours. Emergencies situations will be considered. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you.
The standard meeting time is 55 minutes. It is up to you to be on time as the meeting starts at the designated time. If you are late for a session, you will lose some of that session time.
Telephone Accessibility
If you need to contact me between sessions, please text or leave a short message on my phone. I am often not immediately available; however, I will attempt to return your text or call within 24 hours except on weekends when it may be longer. If a true emergency arises, please call 911 or any local emergency room.
Electronic Communication
I cannot ensure the confidentiality of any form of communication through electronic media, including text messages. I do have a passcode on my phone and often communicate with clients via text.
Sessions In-Person or Online
In-person sessions and online sessions each have value. I see clients in both settings. I have found online sessions to be as effective as in person. My practice is divided into in-person and online clients. Please let me know which kind of session you would like before your session.
